Army Public School: Curiosity Takes Flight

School was where my journey of curiosity and achievement truly began. I wasn’t just a student, I was constantly looking for opportunities to push myself, represent my school, and grow as a person.

  • Consistently a high achiever, excelling in academics and beyond.

  • Participated in every competition I could, from science model exhibitions to quiz contests, debates, and cultural events.

  • Loved building and experimenting, often recognized for innovative science models that blended creativity with practicality.

  • Joined the NCC Air Wing, where the army lifestyle shaped my discipline, time management, and resilience.

  • Honored as the Best Cadet for Karnataka, a recognition that gave me confidence to take on leadership roles early in life.

  • The combination of academics, competitions, and NCC gave me a holistic foundation, curiosity, discipline, and the drive to always aim higher.

KV Malleswaram: Foundation for the Future

My years at KV Malleswaram were quieter compared to school life before, but they were equally transformative. Life revolved around preparation for competitive exams, and I poured myself into the curriculum. Looking back, this phase laid the technical foundation I still rely on every day.

  • Spent most of my time deeply immersed in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.

  • Found the curriculum engaging enough that I rarely needed distractions beyond academics.

  • Developed rigorous problem-solving skills through competitive exam preparation, which sharpened my logical thinking.

  • Learned discipline and focus, building the stamina to handle long hours of study, a skill that still helps in research and engineering work.

  • Scored 90% in CBSE 12th, which cemented my path toward engineering.

  • More than marks, this phase gave me the core mindset and technical base that powered my later work in computer vision, data science, and AI.

MSRIT: From Student to Builder

College life at MSRIT was a mix of projects, startups, friendships, and the occasional exam panic. This was the phase where I learned to balance multiple worlds and discovered that “student life” can make you feel like a superhero.

  • Pursued a B.E. in Information Science & Engineering, graduating with a CGPA of 8.4/10.

  • Joined Edhitha, the technical club, and spent a year building drones and testing computer vision models for real-world applications.

  • Learned how to turn theory into working systems, and how to explain to friends why I was training models instead of playing cricket.

  • Balanced college + AltQube work at the same time, splitting days between lectures and building fintech pipelines at a startup.

  • Developed time management and prioritization skills (translation: learned how to finish assignments in record-breaking time before deadlines).

  • Like every engineering student, discovered our secret superpower: opening the book one day before exams and still scoring well the next day. This made me realise how quickly we could learn a skill on the job.

  • Beyond academics, I made lifelong friends, gained unique experiences, and learned that growth comes from balancing seriousness with fun.

AltQube: Turning Finance Into Data-Driven Systems

AltQube was where I went from being a curious intern to a founding member and Data Science Lead, shaping the product, the tech, and the team. What began as small experiments soon turned into a broker-agnostic investment advisory platform, now live on the Google Play Store.

  • Started as an intern analyst, diving deep into crude shipping data (tracking tanker movements, flows, and density) to test if we could generate alpha for trading crude oil.

  • Grew into a core team member and later a founding member, trusted to take AltQube’s vision beyond analysis into full-scale product design and engineering.

  • Architected a broker-agnostic platform where users could:

    • Buy mutual funds through BSE Star MF integrations.

    • Invest in AI-powered equity portfolios (smallcases) across brokers.

    • Get AI-driven insights into their holdings, the kind of advice professional advisors charge heavily for.

  • Built the Portfolio Health microservice, crunching risk, volatility, diversification, and drawdowns, serving results in <500 ms to mobile + web apps.

  • Designed and deployed a Markowitz-based recommendation engine, cutting portfolio risk by ~25% while preserving expected returns.

  • Scaled 12 FastAPI microservices streaming market + alternative data (Google Trends, FII flows, crude tanker density, macro releases) into real-time alerts and analytics.

  • Beyond backend: I hired the entire tech and product team and led the design of the app, from product vision to UI decisions.

  • The result? AltQube is now live on the Play Store, giving everyday investors access to professional-grade advisory tools.

AltQube was my finishing school in product building, from intern analyst to founding member, from shipping scrappy signals to leading a product that shipped to thousands. It was here that I learned I wasn’t just building code, I was building a company, a product, and a team.

Silofortune: AI for Social Impact

If AltQube taught me how to build products, Silofortune taught me how to create impact. This is where I turned cutting-edge AI into tools so useful that they are now part of essential veterinary workflows in Karnataka.

  • Joined as a Founding Member & Data Science Lead, entrusted with building the product and the team from scratch.

  • Architected a 22-model computer vision stack blending YOLO detectors, pose estimation, segmentation, monocular depth, and regression heads, enabling real-time cattle health insights like Body Condition Score, milk yield, disease detection, and market value.

  • Learned to work with veterinary doctors, understand their science and diagnostic methods, and translate it into computer vision pipelines that could replicate and scale their expertise.

  • Built a WhatsApp chatbot + API, making these tools accessible to farmers in their everyday workflows — today handling 400–500 paid scans per day.

  • Achieved state-level validation: my work has been recognized by the Government of Karnataka and is now actively used by doctors at government veterinary hospitals, where it has become an essential diagnostic tool.

  • Went beyond AI research — I hired engineers, managed cloud infrastructure (serverless AWS Lambda pipelines cutting inference time from 14s → 4s), and built a human-in-the-loop data engine that grew our labeled dataset 5×.

  • Currently leading new innovations for farmers, including:

    • Chatbots that provide AI-driven advisory in real time.

    • Visual Question Answering (VQA) systems for farmers to simply “point, ask, and get answers.”

    • Voice-native interfaces to serve uneducated farmers, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.

Silofortune is not just a workplace, it’s where I proved that AI can change lives. From cloud architecture to hiring, from working with doctors to empowering farmers, this is where I became a technologist who builds for impact, not just scale.
